The short version. ConvertEdge Tech ("we," "us," or "our") collects only the information we need to respond to you, deliver our services, and run our products. We do not sell your personal data, we keep tracking to a functional minimum, and we give you clear ways to access, correct, or delete what we hold. This policy explains what we collect across convertedgetech.com, our engineering services, and our products ZwingD and Feezy, along with the rights you have over it.

This policy applies to convertedgetech.com and to interactions where ConvertEdge Tech decides why and how your personal data is used (the "data controller" or "data fiduciary"). When we deliver Forward Deployed Engineering, legacy app modernization, or consulting inside a client's own environment, we act as a service provider and handle that data under the client's instructions and our engagement agreement, governed by the relevant client contract rather than this page.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what a given interaction requires. In practice, that falls into a few clear buckets.

Information you give us directly

• Contact and lead forms: when you reach out through a "Talk to Our Team," "Book a Consultation," "Claim Your Free Assessment," or product enquiry form, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, and the message or project details you choose to share.
• Newsletter and "Subscribe for Insights": when you opt in to our resources updates, we collect your email address, and nothing more than that to send you the newsletter.
• Product accounts (ZwingD and Feezy): if you sign up for ZwingD or Feezy, you provide account details such as name, email, phone number, organization or institute name, and the operational data you enter to use the product (for example, student or payer records, fee structures, and content you publish). Product use is also governed by the terms presented inside that product at sign-up.

Information we collect automatically

• Basic technical data: when you browse convertedgetech.com, our hosting and analytics layer records standard request information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate to keep the site working and understand which content is useful.
• Functional and analytics cookies: a small, deliberately minimal set of cookies and similar storage, covered in the cookies section below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only for the purposes you would reasonably expect:

• Responding to your inquiries: replying to contact, lead, and assessment requests, scheduling consultations, and preparing proposals.
• Service delivery: running and supporting engagements, providing the ZwingD and Feezy products, processing transactions, and providing customer support.
• Product updates and communications: sending newsletters and insights you subscribed to, important service notices, and updates about features relevant to a product you use.
• Operating and improving our offerings: diagnosing issues, securing our systems, measuring which content and features are useful, and improving the website and products.
• Legal and compliance: meeting our obligations, enforcing our agreements, and preventing fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content or operational data you store in ZwingD or Feezy to target you with unrelated advertising.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the law requires a specific legal basis (such as under the GDPR), we rely on the following:

• Consent: for newsletter sign-ups, non-essential cookies, and any optional marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Contract: to deliver a service or product you have requested, including running your ZwingD or Feezy account.
• Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries you initiate, secure our systems, and understand and improve our website, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with applicable law.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses recognised under the Act, and only for the purposes described in this policy.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We keep tracking minimal and functional. We do not run intrusive advertising trackers across the site. The cookies and similar technologies we use fall into two groups:

• Strictly necessary / functional: these keep the site and our products working, for example by remembering your session, securing forms, and storing basic preferences. The site does not function correctly without them.
• Analytics: we use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic and which content is read, so we can improve it. These are configured to avoid collecting more than we need.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking functional cookies may affect parts of the site or product experience.

5. Third Parties and Service Providers

We share personal data only with trusted providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. These include:

• Hosting and infrastructure: cloud and hosting providers that run convertedgetech.com and our product backends.
• Email and communications: email delivery and newsletter providers used to reply to you and send updates you requested.
• Payment partners: for paid products, payments are handled by regulated payment gateways. Within Feezy, fee collection is processed through partners such as Razorpay and Cashfree; we do not store full card or bank credentials ourselves. Those are handled directly by the payment provider under their own security standards and privacy terms.
• Analytics: the analytics provider described above.

These providers are bound by contract to protect your data and to use it only for the services we engage them for. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, and systems.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, then delete or anonymise it. Concretely: contact and lead enquiries are retained while we are in active conversation and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain context for follow-ups; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe; and product account and transaction data is retained for the life of your account and for any period we are legally required to keep records (for example, tax and accounting obligations). When a retention period ends, we securely delete or anonymise the data.

7. How We Protect Your Data

Security is engineered in, not bolted on. We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), least-privilege access controls, tenant isolation within our products so one organization's data is kept separate from another's, and regular review of our systems. Access to personal data is limited to people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and to respond quickly if an issue arises.

8. Your Rights

You have meaningful control over your personal data. Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• Access: get a copy of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct: fix data that is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
• Delete: request erasure of your personal data where we no longer need it and have no legal reason to keep it.
• Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from our newsletter or withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
• Object or restrict: object to certain processing or ask us to limit it, where the law allows.
• Nominate: where the DPDP Act applies, nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@convertedgetech.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timelines required by applicable law. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority.

9. Children's Privacy

ConvertEdge Tech builds tools for businesses, institutes, and creators, not products marketed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Where a product like Feezy is used by an educational institute and includes records relating to students who may be minors, that data is entered and controlled by the institute as the data fiduciary, and ConvertEdge Tech processes it solely on the institute's behalf under our agreement. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us improperly, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

ConvertEdge Tech operates from India and serves clients and users in multiple countries, so your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside your home country, including in connection with our hosting, email, and analytics providers. Wherever data is processed, we apply this policy and require appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers consistent with the DPDP Act, 2023 and, where applicable to EU/EEA individuals, the GDPR, including the use of appropriate contractual protections with our providers.

11. Regulatory Awareness

We design our data practices to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and to respect the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for individuals it covers, including lawfulness, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, and accountability. If you are an individual in the EU/EEA or UK and have specific questions about how the GDPR applies to your data, contact us and we will address them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, products, or legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of our website or products after an update means you accept the revised policy.
